Road Closure - Tuesday 15 September 2026

We have been notified of a road closure on the High Street outside the school on Tuesday 15th September to allow resurfacing works to take place. The closure is scheduled to be in effect between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

Start of school day

We have spoken with the Streetworks team to make them aware of school timings. They have advised that any parent or staff needing to access the school after 9:30am should make themselves known to the roadworks crew, who will be able to permit vehicle access to the front school car park on a limited basis.

Where possible, however, we would recommend dropping students a short distance away from the High Street and asking them to walk to Reception, as pedestrian access to the school will not be affected.

End of school day

The Streetworks team is also aware of the end of the school day and has advised that the resurfacing works are unlikely to continue until the advertised finish time of 3:30pm. If all goes to plan, they expect to complete the work by approximately 2:00pm. Should the works overrun, the crew will facilitate access to the school site for student collection.
