EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

We offer a range of activities for students that take place after school, at weekends and during the school holidays.

 

PLEASE NOTE, UNLESS ADVISED OTHERWISE, EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES WILL NOT RUN WHEN SUBJECT EVENINGS ARE PLANNED:

  • Main Open Evening - Thursday 3rd October 2019
  • Year 7/8:           Tuesday 28th April 2020 OR Thursday 7th May 2020
  • Year 9:                Tuesday 4th February 2020  
  • Year 10:             Thursday 13th February 2020
  • Year 11:             Thursday 9th January 2020
  • Year 12:             Wednesday 18th March 2020
  • Year 13:             Thursday 12th March 2020

Extra-Curricular Activities / Enrichment Clubs - Terms 3 & 4

Dear parent/carer, Please find attached the new enrichment booklet for terms 3 & 4 (January - April 2019). There are a number of changes to note within the booklet, including the discontinuation of the following clubs:

  • Netball club (Tuesday only)
  • Swimming club
  • Badminton club
  • Cricket club
  • Rugby club.
  • Drama club (both days)
  • Microsoft club
  • Band practise for ‘We will rock you’
  • Media club

  There a number of new clubs being introduced (details within the booklet):

  • Cheerleading
  • Fitness/yoga
  • Handball
  • Photography club
  • Rock Band club
  • Charity nursing home entertainment club
  • Concorde book club
  • Computing club
  • Jazz club
  • Ukulele club
  If your child would like to continue with their current club, and it is still running in terms 3 & 4, then please note that YOU DO NOT NEED TO EMAIL ME. You only need to email me if your child wants to sign up to a new or different club for term 3 & 4. Once I receive your email I will place them in their chosen activity.
If circumstances should arise where a club is full, then students who have been in that club for the first two terms will be asked to make way for newcomers.

Students in receipt of free school meals are entitled to support and funding for a variety of school trips and visits during the year.  Further details can be found HERE

 

 

 

Recent opportunities to travel include France, America, Iceland, Spain and Germany, with more visits planned for the coming year.
