Road Closure - Church Road, Frampton Cotterell
We have received notification from South Gloucestershire Council that Church Road will be closed for resurfacing works for the period of 28th February to 11th March inclusive. This will obviously affect students who live in this area and we would ask that alternative arrangements are put in place to ensure they arrive at the Academy in good time.
The school bus (460 service ) will also have an amended route during this time. Please find see below the revised timetable for your information. South Glos Bus & Coach Company have asked us to pass on their advance apologies as they are mindful that the narrow roads and difficult manoeuvreability for buses in the Coalpit Heath/Frampton Cotterell area resulted in some students now having to walk a fair distance from their usual stop.
Please also note that the late bus will also run along a similar route during this period and you will need to let your child know what alternative stop they need to disembark.
