Winterbourne Academy

Stagecoach school bus update - 10/01/2020

Stagecoach have this morning provided the following update on bus fares for their weekday school service to Winterbourne Academy with immediate effect.
427   £2 per journey
458   £2 per journey
459   £2 per journey
460   £1.50 per journey
963   £1.50 (Patchway), £1.00 (Bradley Stoke) £60p (Stoke Gifford) per journey
•The 10 journey tickets are no longer available to purchase
•A top-up card can be purchased from all drivers for £1 and cash can be added to this and used in a similar way to the 10 journey ticket. For example, adding £20 cash will give a student 10 journeys if they use the 458. This card can be used across all Stagecoach bus services. Currently this is a cash-only option but Stagecoach hope to allow online top-ups in the near future.
•A £17 Megarider is available via the Stagecoach app and allows free travel across all Stagecoach services for 7 days (https://www.stagecoachbus.com/app)
•The Stagecoach tracking app currently only shows the 963 school bus. The other school buses will added in the near future
Stagecoach understand there has been much confusion and unnecessary disruption caused by the recent changes and sincerely apologise for their poor communication. Winterbourne Academy is unable to answer specific queries relating to the Stagecoach bus service, therefore if you have any further questions relating to the fares or any other matter, please contact Stagecoach directly via their email address west.enquiries@stagecoachbus.com or their local office contact number 0117 9695286.
