Bus diversion - 20/04/21 - 459 & 427 service

We have been informed that roadworks in the Emersons Green and Frenchay area will affect the 459 and 427 school bus service during term 5. 

Stagecoach have therefore asked us to pass on the following message about revised collection and drop off points during this period as follows 

459 starting 19/04/2021 for two weeks

We will be picking up at Emerson’s Green Sainsburys & Westerleigh Road only then resuming normal route and stops from there. We will pick up at Emerson's green Sainsburys and Westerleigh road then resuming stopping from there.

Stops we will not serve will be as follows

- Church farm road
- Betts green
- Bromfield walk
- Meadgate

427 starting 12/04/2021 until further notice ( reported 30/04/2021 )

UPDATE:  19/04/21  -  we have been advised this afternoon by Stagecoach that they are now able to collect students on the 427 Frenchay service along BECKSPOOL ROAD.  This will be as per the normal timetable time but collecting at the stops that students are normally dropped off at in the afternoon.  The 427 will then turn left at Beckspool Road onto Frenchay Park Road before travelling up Stoke Lane and travelling to school via the Stoke Gifford Bypass.

We will have to start the service at Sheldrake Drive & Stoke lane only. After this will divert on the diversion route until they reach Hambrook traffic lights. We have attempted to contact the Council to verify the end date but to date we have been unable to make contact..

We miss out all stops from Stoke lane to the A4174 Hambrook traffic lights.
