I am immensely proud of the success of all the students at Winterbourne Academy. The positive changes across the Academy during the past year have provided stability and have enabled our students to focus on achieving their best.

Students’ achievements at GCSE can be attributed to their confident attitudes to learning and the support of their parents and carers. I would also like to thank the teachers at Winterbourne who are committed to achieving the highest possible outcomes for all.    Outgoing Principal, Peter Smart.

Winterbourne Academy formally joined The Olympus Academy Trust in February of this year although support was in place throughout 2017 whilst I was interim CEO. I am confident that the sponsorship of Olympus has had a significant impact in creating the conditions for students to be successful in their learning as we have worked to stabilise the academy. Winterbourne’s community deserves this strong set of results and an improving reputation.  Chief Executive Officer Dave Baker.
